Signing off with our own calligraphy...
We headed to the Today Art Museum for the opening of the Why Not Ink? which exhibited the works of Liu Dan, Wang Tiande, Feng Bin and Xu Bing. Using ink in different forms, the artists show their varying visual experiences. The thoroughly contemporary works seemed to question the relationship between tradition and modernity with the employment of ink, a very traditional medium in China.
